Dr. Amy Glaser-Carpenter
Dr. Amy Glaser-Carpenter, D.O. is a board certified family medicine physician. She attended medical school at Midwestern University in Chicago, IL (2001-2005). She then completed her residency program at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN as co-chief resident (2005-2008). She began her medical career as a National Health Service Corps scholarship recipient, practicing medicine in underserved areas of Colorado. She continued her career in Colorado as medical director for Conejos County Hospital until she returned to her home town of Batesville IN in 2017.
Driven by her passion for helping others and feeling the need to create a practice which focuses on the doctor-patient relationship, Dr. Glaser-Carpenter opened Carpenter Family Care in May of 2018. She uses the direct primary care model in her practice to offer high quality, accessible and affordable health care to all patients. Her training in western medicine as well as additional training in lifestyle medicine, mind-body medicine, plant medicine and functional medicine allow her to offer individualized care and to help patients reach their health goals.
Outside of her work, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time with her friends and family including her husband Kevin and her two children Ian and Ella. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, exploring and learning.
Nurse Vanda
Vanda Marie Laloge RN, BSN, graduated from Purdue University in May 1994 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Her 28+ years of nursing experience spans medical-surgical, pediatrics, obstetrics, school nursing, occupational health, and case management. She holds nursing certifications in both Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) and Occupational Health (COHN-S).
Vanda’s nursing career has built the foundation for her love of nursing and created a passion for helping others. Working within this practice, alongside Dr. Carpenter, is a collaborative mission to provide quality care with a unique and holistic focus, in support of individual health and wellness goals.
